Art Camp 1 Week 1 Master Studies Part 2 color Thumbnails 9-14

Hello!

finally managed to get some thumbnails done! this takes me up to 14/50. Determined to try finish this week.I know im prob working through this course slower than im meant to atm but im trying my best with it. Hopefully ask i get more confident ill paint quicker.

Im really please with the "la ira de los mares" by Aivazovsky one. looks like im ok at painting the sea. I like how the sea came out in the Waterhouse one but not happy with the rest. Ill get there :) My attempt at Fuseli by John Opie looks like sheep with a wig on XD looks like i should focus on faces maybe?

so if i try get 6 on a page to do the other 36 thumbnails i should be able to pace myself a little better. May make each page a focus on certain aspects. eg faces, mountains,cityscapes.
ill have a think.

Not been able to do as many as i wanted as had to cover for a friend at work so not had the hours free
but here is my next 4

im back home earlier from work tomorrow so im aiming to get up to number 20 if possible. fingers crossed

Hey guys
just a short blog with the first sheet of color thumbnails. Just having a break and ill do some more :)

Going to try and reach 10 tonight hopefully :)

Art camp 1 Week 1 Master Studies Part 1 Black and white

First week is to do masters studies (study of an old painter, usually dead) to learn from how they did their work
There were 3 difficulties to this lesson, naturally i chose the hardest which was to do a total of 50 black and wite studies, 50 colour studies and a full colour large master study
This post is my progress on the black and white masters studies
If you click the image they will open bigger. i hve labelled them in photoshop with the artists name and painting title. feel free to google the pieces if you want to, but i just wanted to get htem tho look good as thumbnails.
Any feedback (preferably constructive) is welcome

 For the eagle eyed of you, youll notice their are only 45 images here. i cant find my other sheet, its somewhere on my hard drive but it seems to have gone array :S
